Experience
I really enjoyed making the collaterals in task 2 and the type applications in task 3 even though I was very uneasy about it in the beginning. I have no experience in making collaterals and stuff but I ended up really enjoying it after I got a hang of it. Task 3 might have been my favourite assignment to do since I started this semester. It felt very rewarding and I feel quite proud of the work I have done, though I don’t know how well I actually did haha. The process was gruelling, but the end product was so rewarding. Compared to Typography, Advance Typography also felt more free and I can explore a lot more things which was very fun.

Observations
I noticed that things went a lot more smoothly in Advance Typography than in Typography last semester. This made me realise how much I have learned from last semester which allowed me to feel much more comfortable this semester. Task 2 allowed me to explore my interests and what I wished to pursue in the future. I first started with something that did not really inspire me, or that it really wasn't what I wanted to do in the future. Then, when I changed my key artwork to match something else that I was so much more interested in, task 2 started to be more enjoyable and fun to work with. Task 3 made me pay attention to detail a lot. It made me realise how much attention to detail there is in creating letters.

Findings
I have realised how relevant Typography is in many design works and through the tasks, realised how the design behind collaterals and branding work. Typography is so important when it comes to branding, not just the design of the products. For task 3, I realised that we are always taking in different things to get inspired and for ideas to spark. Mr Vinod has mentioned that it is ok to reference to something, in fact, it is important to reference to an existing typeface because we can't just make something out of thin air.
